The Abbeville Christian Academy Pee Wee and JV football teams got their official start last night playing Lakeside Christian Fellowship. Here are some photos courtesy of Mrs. Sheila Herring.

The Abbeville Pee Wee Assaciation hosted the Pee Wee League Jamboree at the old high school football field on Saturday August 28, 2010 in Abbeville Alabama.

Over 1200 dedicated Parents, Fans, and Supporters packed the stadium.

Players from Columbia, Headland, and Abbeville packed the field for great day of football.

Great Job to all the Cheerleaders, Football Players, and Coaches.

The Pee Wee League is a great event for our small children to be able to play the game of Football.

The Abbeville Pee Wee Association is in need of your support by donation of funds to help purchase Pee Wee Football/CheerLeaders Uniforms.

Due to budget shortfalls the association is having a difficult time in purchasing uniforms for all players and cheerleaders.

Please help this great orginization by your donation.

Abbeville C Team Remains Undefeated

Abbeville C-Team Yellow Jackets finished their regular season Saturday undefeated with the win over Ashford. Ashford and Abbeville were the only two teams that were still undefeated in the league.

The game began as a defensive struggle with only one score in the first quarter when Trey Glanton broke free on a 45 yard touchdown run to give the Abbeville Yellow Jackets a 6-0 lead. Ashford was able to keep possession of the ball the entire 2^nd quarter, however thanks to a goal line stand by Abbeville they were unable to capitalize with a score which allowed Abbeville to keep the lead at half time.

The opening play from scrimmage for Abbeville was a double reverse which led to a 65 yard touchdown run by Trey Glanton once again. This made the score 13-0, which it remained until the 4^th quarter when Demarius Jenkins broke free for a 55 yard touchdown run for Abbeville to make the score 20-0, which it remained until the end of the game.

The Abbeville C-Team will advance to the playoffs, which will begin on October 24^th. The location of the playoffs is still to be determined.

Abbeville B Team Defeats the Cottonwood Bears

Abbeville B team comes out on top against the Cottonwood Bears 28-6. These boys have come out to prove they are winners also.Looks like Abbeville will be the teams to beat this year! Come out and support A B and C teams!!!

Abbeville A Team Does it Again; 34-0 Against Cottonwood

Abbeville A team look like they are on a mission for a championship. This team is 4-0 and has not been scored on yet! They are inspired by an enthusiastic coach with high energy and leadership. This coach is very competitive, he has lead them to five superbowls and walked away with two championships.

The Abbeville A-Team will compete against the Ashford Yellow Jackets in Abbeville this Saturday for the last game of the season. Come out and support them, both teams are undefeated.

Abbeville C-Team Wins Again

The Abbeville C-Team Yellow Jackets improved their record to 3-0 with their homecoming victory over the Houston County Lions on Saturday, September 26th. All pla yers were able to participate because of a comfortable lead the entire game. The Jackets won 39-19 and will face Cottonwood next Saturday, October 3rd at Abbeville High School at 4pm.

Abbeville JV Wipes Out Headland JV

Abbeville JV traveled to Headland Tuesday night to face off with Headland’s JV team. Abbeville quickly jumped on the scoreboard and never looked back.

Soon after their first score intercepted the ball to score again. From that point on Abbeville would not look back. Abbeville’s mighy JV defense have not allowed a score to date. The final score would be 48 to 0.
